Skype messaging, calling and video experience: As we’ve announced previously, Skype messaging, calling and video capabilities will come integrated into Windows 10 through the Messaging, Phone and Skype video universal Windows apps. These Windows applications enable quick and easy, free calling and messaging to other Skype users across phones, over 3G/4G and Wi-Fi tablets and to PCs Wi-Fi. With this build, you can preview the integrated capabilities on your PC while an upcoming Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build will have these integrated capabilities for you to preview soon on mobile devices. Try things like Quick Reply from Action Center where incoming notifications will come in with the option to reply inline without opening the application. This is an early preview and you can expect some bugs, and more features to come as we deliver monthly updates.

With AT&T Messages, you can send and receive text and pictures messages from your tablet or computer. Your messages are stored in the AT&T cloud for up to 90 days so you can keep the conversation even when you switch devices. AT&T Messages uses your AT&T mobile number, so whether you send messages from your smartphone, tablet, or computer, everyone will know the message is from you.

Block launcher mods. You need to have a smartphone data plan and receive a monthly bill for your wireless service from AT&T. (GoPhone® or other prepaid service plans are not supported.)

You can run the app on tablets using Android 3.2 or higher. Download AT&T Messages for tablets from Google Play to your tablet and log in using your AT&T Access ID.

To use AT&T Messages on the Web, you need an HTML 5 compliant browser. For the best experience, update your browser to the latest version.

We recommend the following browsers:

• Safari 5.1 or later on Mac

• Safari 6.0 or later on iPad or iPad mini

On your tablet or computer, go to messages.att.net and log in using your AT&T Access ID. Don't have an AT&T Access ID? Follow the directions on the page to set one up.

The AT&T Address Book service is being retired. AT&T Messages on the Web used Address Book to store contact information. If you had contacts appearing, they will no longer be visible nor can you create or edit existing contacts. You can still use the site to send and receive messages, however, only phone numbers will be visible.
